Holiday Turkey Shoot and Learn to Curl Open House
2009 marks the return of the Victoria Curling Club Holiday Turkey Shoot. It runs the same time as the third Learn to Curl open house of the year. The evening of fun is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2009. The Turkey Shoot and curling clinic begin at 7:30. Prizes will be awarded at 10:00 pm. Current club members are encouraged to come out and celebrate the season with your friends at the Vic. Members of the public are welcome to attend to learn to curl.
There will be five chances to win your Christmas dinner, with a turkey going to the curler who gets closest to the button in the following categories:
1. Turkey throw
2. Regular Throw
3. Stick Throw
4. Lowest total Club Member
5. Lowest total new curler
There is absolutely no cost to attend the Learn to Curl clinic, or to take part in the Turkey Shoot.
